Akido McDonald Back in Custody

Akido McDonald, the Jamaican national who had escape from Immigration Authorities, has been recaptured.

Following an intelligence-driven operation between Police and Immigration officers on Saturday, the fugitive was successfully recaptured at a property in Swetes.

Two other persons, a male and a female were also taken into custody.

The Immigration Department is continuing their investigations, and it is likely charges will be brought against all three individuals.

  1. Akido McDonald was running like a superhero from the big people in charge! Gaston already gave instructions to immigration to send them back. I don’t think Akido believed he could evade immigration officers. They don’t locate dead people in Antigua but surly one you are on foot you will be caught.

  2. What is he running from in Jamaica? Why so many of these people flocking to the “small island? ” That’s how they used to refer to places like Antigua — now this small island has become their lifeline.
