And an amazing show it was, one of magnificence, great artistry and talent.
Unicomer Antigua Ltd trading as Courts held its fifth annual Fashionista 2018 last Friday August 24th at it’s St John’s Branch.
Eight participants had the opportunity to show case their creations of which they were inspired by any item from any of our Courts Stores.
The participants were Kelisha Phillip, Shirrine Gillon, Shem Henry, Laurencia Humphreys, Nicoya Henry, Ralstan Hughes, Anse Henry and Demarley Davis.
The competition was one of great standards and was deemed one of the best ever.
Each participant walked away with a certificate of participation and a Gift certificate compliment Courts.
Winner of the competition was Shem Henry, he walked away with $2,500.
First Runner Up, Laurencia Humphreys, she walked off with $1,000.
Second Runner Up Ralstan Hughes , he walked away with $500.
Participants as well as the audience were well satisfied with this year’s competition.
One participant said ‘win, lose or place, I’m just pleased and grateful that Courts gave me the opportunity to display my passion.
Another, stated that ‘Courts has gone the extra mile for us.. Courts gave us a stipent of $300 to start our piece, plus we received certificates and vouchers. Hats off to Courts for this… we get nothing from the Fahion houses/industries when we participate in what is called the big shows/competitions’.

We anticipate that 2019 will be great.
