FLEX Performing Artist Motto Wins International Soca Award

FLEX Carnival 2018 performing artist Motto (St. Lucia) and his TeamFoxxMusic has won the prestigious SOCA COMPILATION RIDDIM OF THE YEAR at the 15th annual International Soca Awards (iSA) competition for the Pim Pim Riddim featuring Motto and Lyrikal on their soca mega hit – Lit – ‘Di Party Lit.’

Skinny Fabulous – Push It, and Machel Montano – Showtime, also share this TeamFoxxMusic riddim.

Ricardo Drue, Red Hot Flames, Tian Winter and Claudette “CP” Peters were also nominated in this year’s iSA competition held Sunday 6 July, 2018 in St. Lucia.

Motto is scheduled to appear live on the road with FLEX Carnival 2018 during Tuesday
(costume) Mas on 6 August, 2018. FLEX Carnival 2018 troupers can expect Motto’s live
performance in Antigua to include Di Party Lit, Shell Dong Dat, and other highly rated Motto
songs. Motto’s manager Mr. Tyrone Henry contacted FLEX Carnival on the evening of July 10, 2018 to deliver the good news. He promised that Motto will deliver “a great performance” on
the road with FLEX in Antigua.
