I have two possible solution to curve the speeding problem.

1 All vehicles be calibrated to suit the speed limit before licensing.

        (i) Anyone who tampers with the calibration forfeit their driver’s license permanently.

(ii) Anyone who forfeited their driver’s license and found driving again fines to exceed $20k or 10 years plus in prison.

This must be understood to mean once you are speeding the possibility exist that a life can be taken.

        Suggestion 2
Any driver may purchase a purpose built software with a camera which is mounted on the dash board.

The information is stored on the hard drive of the camera and also sent directly to a processing mainframe at a police station.

This vehicle is calibrated to the speed limit. The camera records any vehicle that passes the calibrated vehicle.

When the person pays the fine the driver who made the report is rewarded with 50% of the fine.

The complete kit is at the expense of the driver and not the government.

This system could also be used to capture persons using cell phones while driving.

As many driver as possible can be on the program. Once the payment is timely it can easily be passive income.
This is not rocket science either cameras are available and software can be written. The will to curve the problem is the problem.

I am outside the box looking in.

  2. Miron I share your sentiments. The way some people drive in built up areas is ridiculously out of hand.
I wudda beat dat!! Bang he until he get sense

  3. What I don’t understand, is,why is it that ppl thinks when they are renting a car it means to drive fast?

Do they realize that it puts the business in a position to fail especially when they have to be fixing cars that got damaged? There’s no cars to rent.

    • That’s just how some people are with things that do not belong to them. It’s a rental so I can drive it like a maniac, drop in potholes, leave it smelling smokey etc

Anyway I heard that the child is in stable condition after having emergency surgery. I am praying he pulls through.

  4. Praying for his recovery God is a good God and He works miracles Let’s keep the faith and trust in God He alone understands

  5. i’ve been witness to the driving in gambles, as i live there and have been on radio stations publicly making ppl aware of the drivers of specific vehicles by identifying their licence plates LIVE!!. (I EVEN attempted to drop off the list of licence plates guilty of speeding to the station an was told to go headquarters with it …smh)the drivers on my street located in lower gambles speed through there recklessly and it is of major concern and worry to me because my children as well as my neighbors children ride their bikes and often visit the little suprette across the road. many a times whilst monitoring them … brakes will be heard screeching aloud because of the speed and only inches away from the children they stop. There was a gaping hole that we the residents never reported because it slowed down and minimized the traffic coming through the lane …then came APUA and fixed it and BOOMMMM back to regular programming !! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!!!
