

The Ministry of Education has joined principals and teachers of Zone One schools in expressing condolences on the death of veteran educator Lilie-May George, remembering her as a devoted teacher whose influence extended far beyond the classroom.

In a brief statement, education officials described George as kind, dedicated and deeply committed to the development of her students, noting that her guidance helped shape generations of young people.
Zone One educators also paid tribute, saying her lessons and values continue to live on through the many students she taught over the years.
The ministry extended sympathy to George’s family, colleagues and former students, adding that her contribution to education will not be forgotten.
