Antiguan artist Drastic DemiLandboyz is celebrating a clean sweep at this year’s Island Groove Music Awards, winning in all three categories for which he was nominated.
Though unable to attend the ceremony in person, Drastic took to social media to express gratitude for the recognition, crediting his success to “the Most High God” and the unwavering support of his team and fans.
“I wasn’t there to physically collect these awards myself, so shout out the homie Nazio for collecting and dropping [them] off to mom’s,” he wrote. “#Dancehall #Soca #Patriotic 🇦🇬 We did that.”
The trophies—marking wins in the Dancehall, Soca, and Patriotic categories—underscore the artist’s versatility across genres and his growing impact on the regional music scene.
Drastic also extended thanks to music video collaborators, engineers, producers, and DJs who have supported his journey, and commended the Island Groove team for recognising and celebrating Antiguan and Barbudan talent.
He ended the post with a bold nod to global ambition: “Grammy Award Win NEXT!”
