Tributes are pouring in for drag racing enthusiast Jerome Marsh, who died after a two-vehicle crash in Parham on Friday night.

Police said Marsh was driving a yellow Toyota Vitz that collided with a Toyota Noah van. Firefighters used the jaws of life to remove him from the wreck, and he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Marsh’s 14-year-old son, who was in the car, was injured and remains hospitalized. The Noah’s driver and a passenger were also hurt and are receiving treatment at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Members of the Antigua and Barbuda Drag Racing Association, along with friends and supporters, have filled social media with messages mourning Marsh as a devoted racer, loyal friend, and loving father.

Police investigations continue.
