Dr. Radcliffe Alexander Robins OBE, OM, a renowned veterinarian, educator, and community leader, has been awarded The Governor General’s Faithful and Meritorious Service Award– The Cross for his extraordinary contributions to veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and community development in Antigua and Barbuda.
Dr. Robins’ journey of excellence began at St. Joseph’s Academy, where he earned the Patrick Finch Award for Most Outstanding Student.
His academic pursuits led him to the University of Guyana and the Higher Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Havana, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Over the years, Dr. Robins has dedicated his life to advancing veterinary standards, co-founding organizations like the Environmental Awareness Group and the Antigua and Barbuda Humane Society.
He has also served as Chairman of the Veterinary Board of Antigua and Barbuda. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Robins has passionately advocated for education, environmental awareness, and community growth, earning national and international recognition.
This distinguished honour celebrates his unwavering commitment to national development.
