  1. another weakling that feels intimidated by a “strong black woman”

notice it’s all MEN resigning. They think women shouldn’t have a seat at the table or capable of running things!

  2. poor Shawn.. Gyal u no tired receive resignation letters? dat must be messing with your mind. free yourself. Lovell over in Canada enjoying himself…..now is the time to resign and give Joan de spot. PRIDE a go kill u shawn. Pride and FEAR!

  3. What I have come to notice Antigua people cannot get along with their own. You have people within a group that does nothing except make their mouth run. A lot of us has two mouth and half of ear, Why is it it is so hard for BLACK PEOPLE TO GET ALONG . They are always undermining each other. They cannot think out of the box. Plus if it does not include gaining big bucks They have a problem.

  4. A flock sheep lead by a lion will defeat a pack lof lions mead by a sheep. No sensible man wants to be lead by so called leader who doesn’t know his ass from his elbow. The ALP is bragging that they have the leader they want in the UPP. Should t that make people run to another part of the ALP? Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That speaks directly to and of Pringle. They can bid goodbye to any thought of giver a ce in the next decade. They have conceded the City East seat to the ALP. It will be two APL candidates in that constituency if one doesn’t drop ot. They have pushed Ashworyb Azille to commit political suicide. They are trying hard to keep out Jermaine Edwards. They have concluded the St Marys North seat to Dr Benjamin who will be ALP candidate. They cannot ide tiny a person for All Saints West. They are afraid to run in St Peter’s. Alas UPP!!!! My heart breaks for you. Greedy people have killed you.

    • stop ikt with the lies!! BARBARA COATES shosen for ASW.

ASHWORTH AZILLE is LAZY!!! He coudn’t even manage clare hall school. all he did was oppose for opposing sake as the teachers union president. Then dem get rid of his backside as head.

If he can’t manage a school, how he going to manage a country??? Ashworth is NO POLITICIAN. Funny that UPP have problem with richard JAMAICAN spouse, but no problem with a DOMINICAN.

  5. @BRIXTONIAN. Let me hear you now star cussing the goid doctor vecause he is running away from your toxic environment. DOC, preserve your sanity and leave them alone.

  6. What BS strong black woman I keep hearing about Gisele Isaac. Ask her if she can deal with strong black women like Joanne Massiah, Jermaine Edwards and Dr. Clean Athill. I also heard that she was planning to sue Tabor’s father the lawyer but she would have messed with the wrong man. He does not chat a lot like some of the others but he has BALLS.

  7. watch dah one day with de Gatorade bottle in he hand. a siddung like he too innocent…a he help create de CHAOS DEMON and a he accept bribe money from John Ashe!!!

  8. @Catt it is for people like Gisele, Pringle and many in leadership of the UPPER to think outside the box. They know the liabilities of Pringle as the leader but people like Gisele want to be a king maker. The UPP is doomed under its present leadership. They cannot see that and will pay dearly at the polls. A poll said that Lewis would be a better and more effective leader but they keep talking about results of Convention. We will see where the results of the Convention take them.

  9. He was paid
    This is no big loss
He was not an active member
This resignation does not affect the party
He is morally and financially bankrupt
    So what there are others
He never cared and the country
    He is just selfish
There will be 10 new candidates name in October 2024 (oops October done)
Did I miss any excuses please feel free to add🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭

  10. Not the poll by JTruth but the poll done by Linley Winter that Pringle kept secret. Not even Harold was given a copy. Poll or no poll Pringle cannot cut it as the leader but Gisele wants him since she can control him.

  11. Isn’t it absolutely amazing how the ABLP acolytes, Gastonites and sycophants are always primed and ready at any descent within the UPP (who are only separating the wheat 🌾 from the chaff).

Yet, when there are plenty plenty rumours about Chet Greene wanting to takeover the leadership of the ABLP, there’s utter silence.

And there’s more you Kool-Aid drinkers:

The inner rumblings within your party in regards to the unhappiness about Gaston Browne fast-tracking former UPP members into high profile ABLP positions – he’s only keeping a lid on this particular pressure cooker.

    WHERE’S THOSE CRICKETS 🦗 🦗🦗

Jokers and sidewinder snakes the lot of you…

  12. Who the hell cares if Dr Benjamin resigns as far as I am concerned he was a joker and I am not a fan of UPP so stop making it a thing

  13. … Tek dat @ D’Onally. If you thought that Brixtonian couldn’t counteract your foolish diatribe, then you haven’t followed any of my amazing and outstanding responses to ABLP supporters and Gastonites.

Remember boss, there’s no topic, subject or political lies that I can’t handle. Fact!

Just ask Dave Ray, Tenman or @ Less We Forget 😉

  14. @Brixtonian
Your response to D’Onally was weak and pivoting. Dr. Benjamin was a member of the UPP for almost ep years. He’s a smart gentleman. He was one of the panelists on the night of election watch on ABS TV who called the results before any tally was completed.
He is a wise man, full of worth and value.
It’s strange that Lovell resigned and moved to a Canada to work, and rightfully so. Law was not working for him in the halls of courts

I can bet you any dollar that if an election is being called, he will not be returning to cast a vote for anyone.

If you believe that continuing to chide the ABLP members and supporters will repair the damage of the UPP, you’re living in fantasy land.

Even if Chet were challenging the PM, it wouldn’t damage our party as none of them would be defecting to fragmented opposition.
    D. Gisele, Chaku and Pringle were the recipients of award for their stewardship with the party. Richard Lewis, Dr. Benjamin and others like him, even faithful Shawn Nicholas were not recognized. How cruel is that?
You guys are not a meritorious party. Its about self aggrandizement for a few.
UPP will not revive itself with the current leadership in place.

  15. But what is Shawn Nicholas so afraid of??? She has unquestionably loyalty to the Lipstick Hag and the WOMEN’S FORUM??,

  16. Well done 👏 Dr. Benjamin you did the right thing. The DICTATOR wants to control everyone. I’m surprised Tabor still holding on to the rails of that Titanic

  17. @GB, that’s not true. The ABLP is not responsible for the substandard leadership of the UPP, despite what is being spewed out in the partisan.
Antigua and Barbuda will stand tall in any situation.

  18. Lawd! A coo yah! A coo dey! If the Captain and mate can’t sail, and is going to wreck the UPP ship: why not the crew stage a mutiny; instead of jumping ship, and heading ashore like Ill gotten warf-rats. I’d rather keelhaul the whole worthless sordid lot of them, if I wasn’t so staunchly riveted in being A-political. But change is bound to come, eh! A coo yah! A coo dey!? It seems that the wretchedness of the few, is a cost for too many.

  19. Can you say,DICTATORSHIP? A one Party State is in the making. Are we going back to 1968 all over again.Back then we had a one Party State. Then we the people stood up to the VC BIRD Administration and did not back down.We shut the damn place down.We need to grow some backbones and cojones and stand up now.

  20. @Chester Clarke you are the absolute best and can hold your own with Richard Pryor and Chris Rock. Anyway, I am a capable swimmer so when the ship sink I will just swim to shore 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  21. Yiou know I don’t know whether or not to feel sorry for the UPP and it’s cronies. Especially my friend Brix here, whom I have come to like to have a debate with. He really is a good and loyal soldier of the UPP. He surely will be the last man standing. And he will sink with the ship. Hope he can swim like Charles said he can. Brix start putting on your vest.
But guys I am one that won’t mind a one party state. I think you guys believe democracy is only achieve when you have more then one party. But in a party things are also done democratically. They have elections/conventions and person are elected to positions and the leader can be challanged. So democracy can be achieve with a one party system. And another thing about the two party sysytem that I believe has not served us well, is that the opposition thinks that they are there to oppose the government on each and everything. Whether good or bad for the country. This is the main reason why the country suffers and we cannot seem to make any strive. Because when one tries to build up the country the other is breaking it down. All parties should always work in the best interest of the country. Kublai had a song were he condemned the UPP saying, “They want me put party before country, somebody tell me they can’t be so crazy.”
How can a nation go forward in this way. Opposition should not be about undermining the governing party. It’s about showing that you have the better ideas in solving the countries problems. That way the voters can consider you the next election. PM Gaston Browne has always said he rather be an ordinary citizen in and prosporous state then to be the Prime Minister of a Failed State. And that mindset is what all politician should have. When Pringle was asked what was his main duty as opposition leader? He said his main duty was to undermine the government and get them out of office. Nowhere in that the country comes first. And Antigua and Barbuda will continue to suffer. And we will look at other countries that are doing well each year and we wonder why our country cannot prosper. Just remember the Crab in the Barrel Mentality that we suffer from.
Could you say that we also suffer from Badmindedness. Are we therefore a “cursed nation”. If so it will take lots of prayers to remove that curse. I for one believe we are blessed. And I say that because of having lived on this earth and mostly in Antigua for that many years I have seen how we are spared from terrible dissasters year after year and even when we are hit with dissasters we bounce back so quickly that other are wondering how come and how we did that. Look at the devastation of hurrican Irma over Barbuda, look at Covid, look at hurricane Hugo and Luis and many others. And we are getting assistant and help from other countries near and far. I hope one day we can live up to our creed of “Each endeavouring, All Achieving. We have such a wonderful National Anthem that I believe when we really listen to the words and act on them, we would be the envy of ALL. The writer of this song should be praised and respected by all. he should be taught about in all the primary schools. It is also a most beautiful love song to the unitary Island State that we claim to love. I said claim, becasue of what I described aboves shows we put party and politics before country. And what hurts me the most is the filtyness of this country. We just cannot seem to stop people from indiscriminately litering. It says alot of their love for their country. And when I travel and see some countries so clean, I get very jealous. And ask myself when will my country be that clean. What will it takes to get my country men/women to have that level of pride and ensure that they keep their country clean, and punish those that they see litering.
I pray that day will come in my lifetime.

  22. @Less We Forget well said however I do not fully agree with your view of the one Party State. I am actually at Sandals for my early morning swim so that when and if the ship finally sinks I will be fit and ready.

    • good to know that you can swim. But why are you at SANDALS??? You think they have the right to hold on to our ABST monies? You agreed with Lovell to allow them to do that to our country? You are ok with Sandals witholdin tips from employees and using it for their foundation? Is that just?

  23. Well, well, well … the true feelings of the ABLP supporters like @ Less We Forget, when he squeals and opines by saying:

    “… But guys I am the one that won’t mind a one-party state …”

The out and out ignorance and stupidity of the above phrase, will make others believe that this thinking and mindset is ok … it is not!

A one-party state, will inevitably lead Antigua & Barbuda down the road to a dictatorship. Fact!

Even if the ABLP were in opposition (and they will be in 2028), no right minded person would want the UPP as a one-party government. Never!

I admire your honesty @ Less We Forget [You] 🤜🏽🤛🏽

  24. @Chester Clarke it is beginning to look like me and you are communicating through this medium. Anyway, I swim at Sandals (or Anchorage Beach) as some prefer that name because I live in the area. With respect to your payment of taxes question, all citizens and corporations must pay their taxes once it is correctly calculated.

“I admire your honesty @ Less We Forget [You] 🤜🏽🤛🏽”
The sad thing is that I cannot say the same about you. I am really sometimes disturbed by your lack of comprehension of what I am saying.
Can you proof anywhere were a one party state has led to a dictatorship. Is China a Dictatorship. Is Cuba a Dictatorship. No they are Communist states. People do vote and they do have representative election. I have given you many examples of different democracies. America is in my opinion not a real democracy, as it doesn’t go by one man one vote. This year for the first time in many years we have the winner of the presidency also won the popular vote, but that was not so in many elections. Just because of their system which is called the Electoral College. In Antigua the Boundaries Commission should determine the fairmess of the various parishes. But we have 17 parishes and the party that wins the majority of the parishes wins the election. And you know not all parishes have the same amount of electors. Therefore we do not elect a president. We elect a party. And we do that by parish.
Stop your ignorance once now. A one party state may not be what you would prefer, that is fine, but to say that will lead to dictatoprship is hogwash. Pure stupidness. And you know that.

  26. Brix, let me make another suggestion. Lets say ABLP and UPP and DNA all of them Merge into One Amalgamated Political Party. No more Opposition. And election is about choosing the representatives, and therefore ALL Seventeen Elected Members form part of the Cabinet. And they in term chose the leader amongst themselves. That leader becomes the Prime Minister and he must give all members a portfolio. We still can have parliament and all candidates can debate and vote as they see fit. Up or Down. Majority rule. Parliament is therefore only to pass laws. Which doesn’t mean that all members should agree. Like now you have Anthony Smith an Independent in the House but a member of Cabinet. He is free to vote how he wishes. However given our politics it looks bad if he votes against his Cabinet members. But he sure can. Remember what happens in the Senate under the UPP when a group of Senators voted down the CIP bill. Of course they were fired the next day by Baldwin Spencer. So that is why we need to perfect that system where one cannot be fired because they vote differently. It should take the other to convince them to vote for the bill. We see that all the time in the US Congress. Some Democrats and Republican vote againts bills that the majoprity of their party support. I do remeber John McCain killing the vote that would reverse the ACA. or Obama Care. All I’nm saying our politics is so divisive that we always put party before country. And I think that there should come a time where there is no party. Everyone runs for one political office and perhaps we should also have election for the Senate members. Rather then to have the PM and the Leader of the Opposition chose their members. Let the people chose. En let all have term limits. ten years should be more then enough.
