  1. So it looks like this is the end of the road for you with the UPP. You joined, you saw and you conquered.

You became Baldwin’s blue eye boy, favourite of the pack. More favourite than even the faithful Harold who you resented with every fiber of your being. To the point where you told who would listen that he would never be prime minister in Antigua. Well you got your wish. You made sure of that by sabotaging the campaigns he led.
You wanted special treatment and when you didn’t get it you would take up your marbles and go home, coming back when you see like the party would win. Some of us try to warn Baldwin, but he nah listen.

We in the party who were there before you and who fought in the struggle since way back when UPP was not yet a party feel that you were never with us. You treated many of the members with contempt.
We almost lose 2009 because you went to war with Dr Cort and you made sure he lost his seat. We lost the 2014 election because of Baldwin’s nonsense with back pocket, side pocket and waiting for his godchild to come over from ALP.

But the lost of the 2018 election is right at your doorstep. You handed over UPP sound system to your family and they used it working for Labour shows and campaign. UPP could only have a rally where you set up the system for Labour. They say you said it was too difficult to take it down and set it up again. So after you set up for Labour the day before election there was no rally for UPP.
You disappeared and reappeared just before the 2023 election because you saw that the UPP had momentum. After the lost you came back and started throwing your weight around.

You took a personal dislike to young Richard Lewis. Everybody in Grays Farm knew he was Baldwin’s successor. He was also a qualified IT man. You were not. Even after Baldwin gave you the ministry to deal with IT you still hate him. Maybe because you had a guilty conscience. You chose Pringle for leader even though you know Lewis was better. But when you saw that that was a bad choice and Lewis would be better, you reverse and tried to play you on his side. But Lewis is not a revolutionary. He does not have the fearlessness the party needs to clean up and clear out Gisele and she Women’s Forum, so you give up.
    You now resign?

Well yuh mash um up from early and now yuh want um to be good, ee nah happen.
Jumping off the sinking ship before it go under. Farewell Doc.

  2. Good riddance I say, Edmond Mansoor was more of a destabilising influence than an enabler. As I’ve said before, removing the deadwood isn’t such a bad thing.

However, here comes the “partisan” cognitive dissonance reviews from the ABLP acolytes and Gastonites who love to see turmoil within the UPP, and not look into the dire situations Antigua & Barbuda finds itself at present under Gaston Browne’s economic and crime ridden watch/entanglement.

THEY’RE ON THEIR WAY FOLKS …

  3. He’s not deadwood anymore. He’s been there that long that he’s rotten and disintegrated.

Just like ABLP, they’re all there for the perks and once it runs out or it’s bled out then they can retire happily. They better themselves and their families and I think you of all people my friend would agree that they are all the same.

  4. will they continue to bury their heads in the sand and resort to the default “going where the money is” or “bought out”??? Cleon Athill is somewhere peaceful and mentally happy.

  5. UPP is a DISGRACED party. I am sick and tired of Persons resigning every week. I listened to D.GISEL ISAAC on J TRUTH program. GISEL was lied all through the program. She is the DESTRUCTION of the UPP. BIG UP HON. ANTHONY SMITH JR.

Serpent and Shugy next to go INDEPENDENT. ABLP do not want Them.

  6. Now we’re asking Giselle Isaac-Arrindell please do us a favor and also resign please save the party and then our Honorable leader you know we love you but this is not your place and I know you know you did not win and under your leadership we surely won’t ever win.

  7. @ BRIXTONIAN

When will D Gisel Isaac ( MAN COW ), PRINGLE , SERPENT , SHUGY resign ? Richard Lewis will take His role as High Commission to Jamaica. MAN COW mash up UPP.

What say you BRIXTONIAN ( CHISTOPHER) ? Please explain.

  8. I hope people realize that all of you posters are really labourites salivating at every resignation of a UPP member. With all that is going on in Antigua, look at what excites you? In any organisation, people come and people go and UPP as well as ABLP are no different. As a matter of fact people would be jumping off ABLP ship but for the expectation of “getting”.
Stay strong UPP!! The horns are falling off the wolves.

  9. @ZACKIE

Take off the DAMN BLINDFOLDS. You sounded so damn stupid. Your friend BRIXTONIAN sounded like He is crossing the floor to ABLP . Wake up ZACKIE and come on over .We are a church…ABLP forever.

  10. for storing government computers in Hadeed’s place for over two years. Hadeed in turn, submitted a bill for close to quarter million.

    good riddance!

  11. 🎶Another one bites the dust🎶 lemme guess he was bought too asking all the cry babies in here 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😫😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😫😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😫😭😭😭😭😭😭🪣

  12. When will We hear from Pringle on all these DEPARTURES from UPP? Pringle DO NOT give a DAMN about politics. He is comfortable with His fat pay cheques. He is the only sure seat in UPP.

  13. @PETE. Come on over?? Really!!?? I would rather die first. I am seeing the death of all the dreams of my country becoming a real country. All that you guys are doing is burying your heads in the sand as the country continues to die from corruption, crime and chaos. Don’t you see what happened to countries that went down this road??? Think about Haiti, Guyana etc. Be assured that the faster people defect to ABLP, the faster our country will decline. This is not a game and certainly not a game for me. This is the life and death of our country that must be defended no matter how long it takes. I have been around long enough to see that ABLP is the Satan that cannot correct the “sins” we face.

Tell me about something, anything that is being done to improve the lives of Antiguans that does not have a “self enrichment” component. Let’s talk about that and leave UPP’s business to UPP.

  14. @Zackie in time you have become more rabid. When UPP was in office and you were warned, you refused to see the obvious. Three times in a row the populace have rejected the UPP, but you are yet to get the message. Your former colleagues are abandoning the sinking ship. As for your suggestion that A&B is getting worse, the last HDI report makes clear you are a liar see Antigua and Barbuda upgraded to 54th in United Nations Human Development Index ,18 March 2024, AntiguaObserver):

“The twin island nation has made significant strides in its global ranking, now standing at 54 among 193 countries in the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI).

This marks a remarkable climb of 17 places from its previous rank of 71 and places the country in the “very high” category of the HDI.”

  15. Dear ANR. It is true that money talks and bull shirt walks. You have removed the blog about the gentleman which was not so complimentary to him. Proof that you do play favorites.
Do you think that would change the truth? The whole of UPP know about him in the party. Things said about him are whispered not talked about. Oh yes, that is reserved for persons like Lamin Newton and Anthony Smith and the like.

Read my lips. Everybody in UPP know the man. Doesn’t change one damn thing.

  16. you think it easy to live with a MAN COW LIPSTICK HAG day in and day out??? A very TOXIC, BELLICOSE, TESTOSTERONEsque DICTATORSHIP hag.

this is what Hon. Anthony Smith was referring to. The “leadership within the leadership” that calls the shots. an ELITIST CULT meeting at mdnight Skulls n Bones style to determine who next neck will be on the chopping block.

  17. @Pringle need. Wait are you guys still so upset that instead of destroying Giselle, she made millions off of you? I have to pay it too so what is your bitterness towards her all about?? Earlier, someone refer to me as rabid but if all of your ridiculous posts aren’t rabid then, I don’t know what is.

  18. @Tenman. Hi Tenman.. nice to hear from you after all this time. We did have some good back and forth before the new posters who now are not curse and seek to insult.
Having said that, I can only say, here we go again. These HDIs and other indices you referred to, do not even begin to tell the story of our country. Walk down Market Street and see how many times people beg you for a little something to buy food for their children to eat. It is true that money is being made in Antigua but who is making this money and how is it trickling down to the common man? That is the question and my concern. We know what, “creative enrichment” does. We see the houses being built in the hills but we are becoming a polarized society. So, do your research and you will see what polarization has done to Jamaica, Guyana and Haiti.
We are not on the right course Tenman and the recent rise of St Kitts and Nevis who have used the country’s treasure for the betterment of their society, only proves that.
I have only become more resolute that my country should not hit rock bottom, as we seem on course to do.

  19. Well said Zackie, on point once more about what gets the ABLP acolytes, Gastonites and sycophants salivating 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  20. It’s ALP please and not ablp, what is happening the labor party has used the unsuspecting people to speak that acronym into life, institutionalizing it into Barbudans psyche, inculcating that day are powerless and that the institution runs their life and controls the lands, and blah! Blah! Leadership, the ALP has done a great job on Giselle and Harold, that cause Gisele to become reactionary and step into petty gossips instead of professional management pronouncements, and the public perception is working, I would a get Joan Underwood to come over and be interim chair person and Stafford Joseph become public relations officer, and Pringle should show some selflessness and not entitlement and rotate the leadership, and all upp supporters would be contented, but instead a gloomy disillusionment has hit the party because hon.pringle don’t have that political experience or public articulation to control the narrative, we had the same with lovell who did not go down well vernacular wise and did not delegate well to different party members in rebuttals in terms of shadow cabinet style, so he was fighting a battle let’s say in banking that Gaston always pretends to be acquainted with and Lovell being legal practitioner was totally unpolarized, now comes Pringle with further impediment , and now the UPP have left Richard Lewis out there to be crucified by ALP media that will render his future contribution to the party ineffective, just like how they did to gisele. to tell you the truth it is not the people rejecting upp at all, it’s these rich syrian families and white class mafia who see themselves capturing all government contracts and land resources through some corrupt merchant politicians, power station contracts , Barbuda lands and diplomatic passport and sovereign license to purchase arms issued to syrians and others, we can go on and on. These rich Caucasian men then decides for the populace who wins election, they sponsor the festival and largesse events of elections that create a desired effect or outcome. The country is control by the educated and the wealthy, and 90% of the population is semi-illiterate so that tells how state capture works, why all the civil servants are silent and allow the ALP to continue it’s state capture, have you ever heard of let’s say the ONDCP guy anymore? All are captured.the upp is the onliest party organization I saw did things that uplift the black people and that’s what the syrians and Caucasian is punishing UPP for in the wilderness for, not allowing them to get more power generation contract and investors who wanted Barbuda lands during UPP administration was told to put up a certain amount of monies in escrow and that did not go down well, Gaston came, a hungry merchant politician that speaks openly about self enrichment, he did not speak by mistake, he actually used the media to convey to the underground mafia that business is open again so come and buy the ALP and the country. All the infrastructure upp puts in place especially the airport and stadium just solidify Gaston in office as though the country is going forward, but the hoading of everything for his family and politicians and the white class is creating suffering and crime as frustration at high cost a living hit the populace, the money is not circulating among the people like how upp had it with it’s small business initiative, instead under Gaston 75% of public funds stay with the hadeeds family power station contract and all government offices built by this one family, then shouls building hosting passport office is about $60,000.00 per month, even though Mansoor did innovative things during UPP time, that money was channel through ACT and other business that benifit his people, if after the upp had won this amount of seat in parliament they had ask Pringle to voluntarily realign the leadership rather than entitlement by who was first, we would have been cruising, let’s watch. Gisele give them fuel to burn themselves please, Joan Underwood for chair.
