Dr. Cleon Athill Aims to Revitalize The Movement After Exiting UPP

   If they could make money from scratching around and scraping the barrel for FAKE news and stories on UPP, they would be self-enriched like Gassssston 🤣🤣🤣

2. A group with noble intension became subsumed with the issues of the day. Good governance is an idea to strive for, it is not an action plan.

   There is no such thing as good governance without a robust Civil Society.

   The Movement as an organization, is an element of Civil Society. The remainder of Civil Society is in a state of dormancy, both in a protective mode as well as enjoying the hinder agendas that hinder accountability.

   Among the Movements tasks is to make the case for a robust Civil Society, if Antigua and Barbuda is to remain a democracy.

   The retooling of The Movement is a great idea. It will once again dwindle should it not be able to get more of Civil Society advocating for society’s good not within The Movement membership but a willingness to build alliances to advocate for a common cause.

   No other organization has the ability to influence individuals or groups in order to achieve certain objectives as do the religious organizations.

   In country such as Antigua and Barbuda with the claim of being a Christian nation. Religious organization should be the leaders of civil society.
   Religious organization should not be aligning itself with political organization; neither should they be a tool of any of any such entity.

   The Movement will have minimum impact, unless it builds coalitions with its Civil Society counterparts.
   This is a pivotal moment. I hope they don’t blow it as they pivot.

4. Tell Cleon tap lie she aint no founder. Algernon Serpent Watts is the founder, he and Danny may his soul rest in peace were the two who have the chat about the MOVEMENT. So she need fu stop it i hate fake people. Nobody going to her meetings she to dam bright fu she own good, how the hell you run on a party ticket but don’t want to align yourself, give me a dam break. Politics is not for everyone so do not enter in it. I am happy you na win woman because some serious problems would occur. Go and start your own party please and see how far you get with that attitude you have.

5. Dr. I honestly think you meant well. Your political life is over so move on. The movement is a has been and already served your purpose. It was a good UPP Platform for all intent and purposes. Got you and serpent on UPP ticket. He got elected and you almost.
   If you are capable of reviving the movement, you can form your own political party, because the movement will not survive without that political support.

   I have no dog in this fight of Athill vs. UPP et al. Dr. Athill clearly stated she is not for transactional politics; that the main reason she left.
   I don’t know the lady, Dr. Athill; but I recall Serpent talking about his recruitment of her to be a candidate for Saint Paul’s.

   She seems to have run the type of thoughtful political race which she would have won except for the fact that Antigua and Barbuda’s politic as played by the ALBP it’s a transactional politics. Dr. Athill clearly states that the internal politics withing the UPP are self-defeating. She also wrote and spoke of self-destructive behaviours she was subjected too, within the UPP owing to her objection to transactional politics.

   TRANSACTIONAL POLITICS: A PAY TO PLAY POLITICAL SYSTEM. WHERE POLITICIANS PAY AND PROVIDE HANDOUTS AND TARGETED FAVIOURS FROM THE SLOLEN PUBLIC RESOURCES, WHILE CONTROLING WHO GETS WHAT OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES. POLITCIANS ENGAGE IN THE PRACTICE OF KEEP THE MASSES HUNGRY, IGNORANT WITH A LITTLE HAND OUT HERE OT THERE.

   For UPP it’s a zero-sum game. They do not have the resources or access to the public purse to play in the transactional Game. Dr. Athill determined it’s a no-win situation and she could apply her knowledge for the betterment of the country thought another forum.

   In addition, I wish I knew more about the Lord; but for the little I know about the Lord people like yourself will go to hell to pay for your stupidity.
   Founders are not just thew Individuals who speak about the formation of an organization. They are not the only ones who are considered Founders. Research it or look it up.
   Founding members are anyone the organization chooses to be identified as Founders or founding members.

   The Lord does not help bitter people and you seem to be very bitter towards Dr Athill. I say bitter for you have already determined no one will go to her meetings. Your bitterness towards her also seem to stem from her so called “being bright”.

   The lord doesn’t like humans who detest their fellow humans for being bright. Get over it. Dr. Athill didn’t steal being bright. Her accomplishments are what makes her bright. She worked hard at being bright; I would think.

   Whoever you are “Lord help us”. A bit of advice: Get down on your knees and pray to the Lord for him/her to help you get rid of your evil thoughts and you small mindedness.

   You are one of the poster children of envy, and ignorance that plague the society.

   You seem to conflate independent thinker with independent Political Party.

   Think CIVIL SOCIETY they do not need politics to survive.

   Their role is to work towards and support a healthy democracy. They are the independent thinkers.
