Two men are being treated in hospital after a shooting at a farm off Pares Main Road on Thursday evening.
Police say the men were working on the property when they were attacked shortly before 20:00 local time.
One victim, aged in his mid-50s, was shot three times in the back, while the other, a man in his 30s, was shot in the face near his mouth.
Both were taken to hospital and are said to be in serious condition.
Police remain at the scene and investigations are continuing. No motive has yet been established.
