Donavans Resident Robbed at Gunpoint During Home Invasion
Antigua and Barbuda Police are investigating a home invasion in Donavans after a resident was held at gunpoint and robbed of $1,500 in cash.
George Crump contacted the Grays Farm Police Station on Sunday, reporting that an unknown assailant had entered his home and demanded money at gunpoint.
Responding officers said Crump described the intruder as a slim male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, dressed in black clothing and wearing gloves.
Crump told police he had gotten up to use the bathroom when he encountered the armed man inside his home.
The suspect pointed a firearm at him and demanded money. Fearing for his life, Crump complied and handed over his black wallet, which contained the cash.
The suspect escaped through a northern aluminum kitchen window, which was later found closed but unlocked. Investigators believe the intruder may have gained access using a key that had been left in the kitchen door.
Police launched a search based on the suspect’s description but were unable to locate the individual. Investigations are ongoing.

Guns are taking over the Catibbean. What a sad situation.
It’s seems nowadsys the Caribbean turned like Wild, wild, west. You would swear it’s a movie.
Everybody have gun rn! And it’s not good to leave keys in doors! Too easy for robbers to leave without being caught
These robbers don’t stop at nothing! Shoulda have some pepper to spray on him!
The police need to put stricter measures in place to deal with these criminals. The criminals don’t want to work, instead they harass and steal from hardworking people. What a shame!!
One way to try and curb this type of lawlessness is when they are caught is to change the sentencing guide line no less than 10 years, that means the same individual cannot rob someone for at least another 10 years
They should jail the house owner, with so much going on u leaving keys in door an windows closed an not locked
