Dominican magistrate Pearl Williams will take up her post at Antigua and Barbuda’s Family Court on Monday.
Williams, who made history in Dominica as the country’s first Kalinago attorney in 2010 and its first indigenous magistrate in 2016, brings extensive judicial experience to the role.
Officials say her expertise will strengthen the court’s capacity to address complex family law matters.
