The popular Dadli Day Fete will not be held this year, according to event organiser DJ Jime, who says the team needs time to rest and regroup.

In a statement, DJ Jime said the decision was not taken lightly, but staging the large-scale production requires significant planning, and the available timeframe would not allow the team to deliver the event to their usual standard.

“What we do, while it is a business activity, is also a highly produced event that takes a lot of planning, and we cannot execute the way we want in the time space we have,” he explained.

The fete, a staple in Antigua and Barbuda’s entertainment calendar, is expected to return in 2026 “God spare life”, Jime confirmed.

However, fans will still have cause for celebration this year as “The Best Brunch Ever” marks its fifth anniversary in September. DJ Jime promised organisers will be “making some noise” for the milestone, encouraging patrons to start their year at the popular brunch event.
