Antigua and Barbuda Weather Office: Tropical Disturbance AL91 No Longer a Threat

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service has confirmed that Tropical Disturbance AL91 has dissipated and poses no risk of developing into a cyclone.

In a statement issued at 11:10 a.m. on Sunday, forecasters said the disturbance now carries a zero per cent chance of formation over the next 48 hours and seven days. While the remnants could bring some showers to the islands on Tuesday, the likelihood of hazardous weather remains very low.

Authorities stressed that no alerts, watches or warnings are in effect, but urged residents to remain prepared as the Atlantic hurricane season continues.
