Delon Charlery to Appear in Court for Hearing in Zorina Benjamin Murder Case

Delon Charlery, accused of killing Customs Officer Zorina Benjamin, is set to appear in the High Court on February 21. Benjamin, a mother, was found dead at her Golden Grove home on November 22, 2021, with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Charlery, who was in a relationship with her, was arrested and remains in custody. His lawyer, Wendel Alexander, is reviewing video evidence provided by the prosecution before proceeding with his defense strategy.

  1. A family having to wait this long for some clarity is wrong. Why her child and family has to wait so long fo rjustice just for them to possibly throw the case out. court must stop that

  2. I know someone that has a case in the court system for over 7 years. He has been to court at least 50 times after the case had been put off. For the about five years it was the police coming to court and saying that the file was ready . About 3 times his lawyer had other matters which the court considered more important and further put off my case. All these years he had to be signing in three times per week at the police station , unable to travel because the bail required he submitted his passport. His life on hold for a simple matter of battery on a guy that put his hands in the guy pocket and the guy pushed him down. He received a gash on his forehead because he was drinking and stumbling and hit his head , no stitch and did not even miss work the following day.
