
Defence Force honors non-commissioned officers at annual promotion ceremony
The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force held its annual Promotion and Upgrading Ceremony on Feb. 5, recognizing junior and senior non-commissioned officers for their dedication, discipline and exemplary service.
The ceremony marked a milestone for soldiers who earned advancement through consistent performance and commitment to duty. Officials said the promotions and upgrades reflect both individual achievement and the professionalism and strength of the force as an institution.
Addressing the gathering, the chief of the Defence Force congratulated the recipients and commended them for their perseverance and high standards. He encouraged all soldiers to remain focused, uphold the values of the organization and continue striving for excellence as they progress in their military careers.
The Defence Force extended congratulations to each soldier who earned advancement, citing their dedication, sacrifice and professionalism, and said the achievement should serve as motivation to continue leading with integrity and excellence.
