The committal hearing for customs brokers Rowan Matthew and Foston George, accused of customs fraud, has been postponed.

Facing their fifth fraud case, the duo allegedly scammed Customs out of thousands of dollars.

In July, they faced three new scam charges, leading to their recent court appearance.

They’re set to reappear on December 7 for the committal proceeding.

Multiple charges include misuse of duty-free codes and conspiracy to defraud in a 2017 incident.

Customs Officer Joesine Christian also faces charges.

The brokers are accused of obtaining money through pretenses and making false declarations, with additional charges in previous cases committed for trial.
