
Day 3 of the 2025 World AIDS Day Week of Activities saw a number of events taking place at the AIDS Secretariat’s Headquarters on upper Long Street.
Among the exercises and services being offered are HIV and STI testing from 9am to 8pm, Blood pressure and Glucose screening from 9am to 3pm, as well as counseling sessions. No appointments are necessary.
On Wednesday, the Secretariat will host an HIV Symposium at the Multi-Purpose Cultural and Exhibition Center starting at 5pm, then on Thursday there will be a Pop Up Fair at the Market Square from 9;30am which will be followed the inaugural Teens Talk on Friday at the Multi-Purpose Center.

That event will run for four hours, starting at 9am. Then on Saturday November 29th, there will be a Spanish Community Fair on Joseph Lane in Ottos from 9am.
The week of activities will climax on World AIDS Day, on Monday December 1st with a grand RED Ribbon event and street rally through the streets of the capital beginning at 9:30am.
This year’s program is being held under the theme “Overcoming disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response in Antigua and Barbuda”
