How is this a Customs vehicle with a private number? If it belongs to Customs it should either have a G plate or the special number plates issued to Customs. Maybe they are doing this to hide the large number of vehicles registered to Customs. Trying to fool the public.
IN THIS TINY ISLAND CALLED ANTIGUA IT IS BEYOND MY UNDERSTANDING HOW MEMBERS OF THE RESERVATION THINKS THAT THEY ARE SAFER AND FEEL MORE PROTECTED IN A VEHICLE WITH A C-PLATE. TALK ABOUT PARANOIA……

Government vehicles are easy theft since the workers don’t pay for fuel the leave them idling daily to keep air conditioning cool inside while they go to shop in supermarkets or stroll around town on foot, if it was their personal vehicle they would be concern about the fuel. Am sure it’s the drivers negligence thinking government vehicles are above the law of been stolen, all government and statutory body vehicles are left idling burning fuel with no one inside.
That is why I always say, in this country people support criminal activities and always speak in favor of the criminals. My question is, is this the first government department that have vehicles with private number plates ?, do you know for what purpose that vehicle is being used for ? Besides customs regular uniform duties, there are plain clothes customs officers in the enforcement unit. Even the police have vehicles with private number plates being driven by plain clothes officers. Everybody running their mouth without knowing what happened. Be positive for once.
