  1. Down because some persons stopped wasting their time reporting. Wild guest why? Because when reported the police don’t follow up and if you try to follow up you get transferred to Tim Dick & Harry,& all of them will be lost no idea what you’re talking about. Then… 9/10 times even if they follow up dem nah solve nutn.

  2. For those still commiting robberies like they didn’t learn anything from the one who got shot and eventually died. Hmmm. Time longer than rope

  3. This is just another lie from these devils.

The cabinet must be basing their figures on the lack criminal activity that doesn’t effect them and not the country as a whole.

In recent times we’ve had ABLP Minister after Minister spewing out the same garbage about the lack of crime in Antigua, and normally based against other Caribbean countries with much higher rate of crime.

We all know that statistics can be manipulated to comfort politicians to disguise the FACTS on the ground as we are witnessing right now.

As the popular saying by Mark Twain goes: “There are three kind of lies: lies, damn lies and statistics”.

This government will continue unabashed to hide behind figures like the ones published instead of addressing this growing menace to our society.

The current part-time Police Commissioner just hasn’t got the authority to do anything at present. In the past we’ve heard Steadroy Benjamin trotting out questionable figures as well; and yet Prime Minister Browne still refuses to address the nation to inform and reassure us that he’s going tackle crime in full force.

I look forward to the next set of crime stats from the ABLP before they do anything to help us …

  4. Antigua full of young thieves,in Dominica it’s less developed and we hardly hear about a robbery in the country a place like Antigua that’s full of jobs shouldn’t have so much larceny

  5. Somebody must be dreaming. A yah me lib, you people really take the people in this country for jack and Jenny asses. This information is for Labourites/Gastonites who blindly accept any crap fed to them
