Cricket West Indies (CWI) Chief Executive Officer Chris Dehring has met with the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Hon. Gaston Browne, in his first official engagement since taking office.

Dehring was accompanied by CWI President Dr. Kishore Shallow, who led the delegation on a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister on Monday. During the meeting, Prime Minister Browne congratulated Dehring on his appointment and extended best wishes to the organisation’s Board of Directors and staff as they begin a new chapter.

Also in attendance were Antigua and Barbuda’s Minister of Sport, Hon. Daryll Matthew, along with CWI Vice President Azim Bassarath, Directors Leon Rodney and Enoch Lewis, and Chief Operating Officer Lynford Inverary.

The visit marks an important step in Dehring’s tenure as CWI CEO, as he engages with regional leaders to strengthen cricket administration and development across the Caribbean.
