The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) Water Business Unit has provided an update on the technical issues affecting the Crabbs Reverse Osmosis Plant.

According to APUA, the plant is expected to resume operations by the end of today, Saturday, 4 January 2025.

While production and distribution will recommence promptly, APUA cautioned that it may take approximately 48 hours for the distribution lines to fully normalize.

The water authority reiterated its commitment to resolving the issue as quickly as possible and thanked customers for their understanding during the disruption.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience as we work diligently to resolve this matter,” APUA said in its release.
