Court Postpones Karim Edwards’ Dangerous Driving Case to September

13

Legal proceedings against Karim Edwards, accused of fatally injuring one AUA student and severely wounding another in a 2022 driving incident, have been postponed until September.

Edwards, initially charged with dangerous driving, now faces a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

His attorney’s recent no-case submission led to the delay.

The incident resulted in the death of 21-year-old Kenneth Mathew and serious injuries to 19-year-old Priyanjana Das.

  3. Wendell Alexander, nee Robinson, is Antigua’s very own Nick Freeman aka Mr. Loophole, an absolutely brilliant chap.

I hope for the remainder of my mortal existence I will only have need of a lawyer to cut, copy and paste a legal document to purchase property or be my executor of estate. I don’t ever want to look myself in the mirror everyday knowing I got away with committing a crime. I am only human but a human with a conscience.

  8. A slap on the wrist fine and a suspended license is all he will get. He can enjoy his carnival. Partial Judges smh they are demons bound for hell

  9. It’s his callous behavior, of allegedly, leaving the scene of the accident and then returned some time later; again, allegedly with an attorney.
Fuck! How fucking heartless is that, leaving two individuals injured on the road like #road_kill.

I some jurisdictions, traffic laws demand, that you stop for duck, iguanas and other animals indigenous to the locale.

Some [suicides] are instant, while others come as a lifetime of torment and misery; and, no amount of drugs, alcohol nor the #☠️_Of_Hyram will save you!

Will this case take the route of The State vs Ryan? A precedent has been set even though, this case is still stuck in the bowels of the judiciary.
