  1. I would not visit an ATM at night these days. Any banking I would do in daylight hours. Also have to be careful dropping of those bag deposits.
It seems like hardly anything is safe these days.

  2. An upsurge in gun robberies. The only way to solve it, is give the Police legal orders to shoot to kill. Let the parents of these armed altar boys cry and demonstrate but keep the rest of us safe. Parents know they laid bad eggs and did nothing to change their progeny. But cry and demonstrate when they reach their just end. The Parents of all these delinquents must also be charged for failing to parent their children properly and for justifying their actions.

  3. Where did the robbery occur? @ writer, please try to be more specific and give more details whilst delivering the news….!

  4. The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crime.

  5. Most banks if not all have cameras in and surrounding soooo this shouldn’t be a challenge. I do think it would also be fair to say the bank.

  6. Why is the bank a concern? The governments lack of security should be a concern faithful national, don’t you think? Thank God this wasn’t worse than it could’ve been. Talking about making up stories sound like you know the criminals, or maybe you are one yourself

  7. The way these criminals don’t care in this day and age is hilarious, what is our country coming to? What’s even more perfect is that we don’t hear from authorities, the safe never cares about the unsafe…..

  8. What a world we breathe and live in. Criminals are causing havoc in the place and people like Faithful National are more concerned about the bank footage, this make the criminals know that people are on there side.

  9. Retribution is a hell of a ting. All thief have their day. See what happened to the young man from Vila. Don’t worry all u day will come

  10. One of the safest places in the world , is the United Arab Emerites. Why?

Well that’s a question for Cutie and Gatson Browne. A little island with a 100k people and only a 108sq miles to cover, and Gatson Browne can’t keep his voters safe from a few scrappy thieves.

Meanwhile he’s flying around the world “Championing climate Justice”. 😂.

    His words, not mine.

    This has now become laughable.

  12. I remember a few months ago a man got robbed at ECAB in woods mall while depositing the bag.
The surveillance camera caught the vehicle and the registration plates and up to now nothing was made public about the perpetrators or even if an arrest was made or nothing whatsoever regarding that incident.
The public needs to be kept in the loop more about the findings of these crimes ….
We also need more specific details from ANR when publishing these stories…. Someone might have just seen or heard something worth while or have a valuable piece of information that might help in shedding some more light on some of the things that’s happening so often in Antigua .
Writing a story with vague headlines saying …
Man gets robbed at ATM ….
Tourist got held up at a beach …
House got broke into in St Johns ….
Couples vehicle got stolen last night …. Come on ; the public needs more to go on so they can assist the police with these investigations.

  13. This Gisele Say No Jamaican idiot, she is not the reason for the escalation in crime, it’s the non performance of the shitbag people such as you elect to run the country. If you are passed school age I think you better consider night school you need it badly

A new marshal is needed in our budding dodge city. A former marshal was release from prison, after evidence showed, that he did shoot the deputy dead, but the sheriff survived. Eyewitnesses say, the former marshal shot the deputy in self defense and made sure he only wound the sheriff.

Sheriff Rassy Browne always hated me.
    For what, I don’t know!

  15. Crime is out of control, and the criminals are running things. The foreign chickens are coming home to roosts. We need a new government, PM, AG et al. The ALP is not up to the job!

  16. No cameras infront the ATM? So just like that somebody lose what they worked hard to buy. People need to normalize walking with a weapon sorry to say

  17. VC Bird must be turning in his grave, Antigua has turn into a crime ridden state. Just a matter of time before we becomes like Haiti.
