Copper Wiring Stolen in Break-In at Camp Blizzard Military Base

Copper Wire theft

Police are investigating the theft of large quantities of copper wiring from an electrical storeroom at Camp Blizzard Military Base.

Although there were no clear signs of forced entry, officers believe the intruders gained access through a glass window. The wiring appears to have been removed using a hydraulic rolling jack, indicating the raid may have been premeditated.

Searches of the surrounding area have so far failed to recover the stolen materials. Investigations are ongoing.

  1. That sound like an inside job to me. If not shame on the Antigua and Barbuda Defense Force. Not force entry and the use of a Hydraulic Jack , seems as an inside job to me.

  2. I believe this was an inside job, no force entry and the use of a hydraulic pallet jack to move the stolen goods. This doesn’t sound good for the Defense Force

  3. IN MY OPINION,IT WAS AN INSIDE OPERATION.FOR ONLY THOSE ON THE BASE WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHERE SUCH THINGS ARE STORED.I DO HOPE THIS IS FULLY INVESTIGATED WITH NO COVERUPS AND SEND THEIR BACKSIDES TO 1735.

  4. ABDF soldiers or soldier took the wire…Behind the scenes many officers are struggling with all sorts of addictions and financial situations etc…Same in the PF…
