Construction of The Golden Grove School Expansion Begins.

After the groundbreaking approximately two weeks ago, work has commenced on the construction of the Golden Grove School Expansion and renovation of the community park. Daryll Matthew ABLP candidate and sitting MP for SJRS, commented that he is excited to see that construction has started. “It’s another step of taking my constituency of St John’s Rural South to the Next Level.”

The initial phase of the project will see the construction of a new classroom wing of the school with a student capacity of 90 students. Phase 2 will see the second floor of the building completed with an additional three classrooms, and Phase 3 will see a renovation of the existing school compound.

  6. Everyone involved in this project should be ashamed of themselves. Quite rightly said APUA employee. He had 5 years and have not showed up until now. He has been the worst minister of Education ever. Hope you already made settlement with the owners of this land. Hope you met DCA approval, civil engineering- steel, geological, electrical, plumbing- sewage testing /percolation etc. DCA you pushed down Serpent billboard. Do you have the documents for this construction- remember is people children going in there .

  9. I hope you all can not forget they STILL have never completed negotiations with my family for the land. Nothing has been mutually agreed upon amongst the family and the government has knocked down the two-family, habitable structure, with a tenant in it. Remember that when they talk about, “Golden Grove Primary Expansion”.

  10. Golden Grove school has been bursting at the seam for decades and even more so as the so called representatives keep sending constituents to enrol their children even though there is no space. I can’t take the hypocracy and the ground fakings. Get rel with your education sector plan. It is not only election season you start to do something about o ercrowding an unsanitafy conditions in schools do it every day for the 5 year term.
