Community Bathroom Project in Seatons

Construction has begun on a new community bathroom facility in Seatons, with similar projects expected to follow in Glanvilles, Newfield and Willikies.

According to St. Philip’s North MP Randy Baltimore, the initiative is being driven largely by residents who have volunteered their time and skills, while local businesses are providing financial support and in-kind donations.

Photos shared by Baltimore show volunteers laying concrete blocks and carrying out the early stages of construction at the Seatons site.

Baltimore said the project reflects what can be achieved when residents and businesses work together toward a common goal.

He thanked the volunteers, business owners and supporters involved in the initiative, saying their contributions are helping to strengthen community partnerships and improve public amenities across St. Philip’s North.

The Seatons facility is the first in a series of community bathroom projects planned for the constituency.

  4. Real idiotic nonsensical move …. Why build these structures and no one to maintain them? Antigua is a place where we construct buildings but dont put people in place to maintain them.. This is just a waste of money.. please let’s move this country forward..

  6. My my my I said before that nothing has change for fifty years we got ROBIN -LESS -NESS -LESS Please reconsider build a Changing room facility with bathroom in the vicinity of the Netball Court and the Cricket Ground

  7. Randy this is stepping in a backward direction. This shows that you are not a forward thinker. Downright stupid move. Are you saying these communities have homeless people or that the poverty level is so bad that they don’t have anywhere to wash them skin.
    Now there is a public toilet up long bay that was built by Rob Barrette. If you want to do something sensible assign someone to keep it clean. When Barrette was alive it was fairly well kept- calling on his son to join forces in the upkeep of this facility in his honor.

  10. Who would be maintaining those public bathrooms? Are these going to be regular bathrooms or septic toilets with bathrooms.I would like to see more information on this project.Back in the 1960’s,there were public bathrooms in Grays Farm and Point.
