The Rotary Club of Antigua on Tuesday was the recipient of a valuable contribution from Sagicor Inc Antigua, which will further enhance one of the Club’s signature outreach projects.
Assistant Vice President of Eastern Caribbean Operations and Branch Manager, Marisia James presented RCA’s Service Projects Director, Past President, Paul Ryan with a cheque of four thousand and seventy-five dollars, which will be invested in ongoing Bed-at-Home project.
The initiative was first launched in May 2020, under the leadership of then President of the Club, Dr. Vanetta Rodgers.
The overall goal of the programme, is to offer those persons who are medically confined to a bed and their caretakers, the flexibility of care in the form of a hospital type bed in the comfort of the home.
The beds are adjustable and portable and recipients are selected following a needs assessment or on the recommendation of a doctor.
The Rotary Club of Antigua is thankful to the financial institution for its generous support.
