Committal Hearing Delayed in Mount Obama Shooting Case
The committal hearing for Deon Lloyd, charged over the fatal shooting of Javorn Williams, has been postponed to 4 June in Antigua and Barbuda.
The incident occurred on 2 January at Mount Obama, formerly Boggy Peak, following a confrontation that ended with the 35-year-old Williams being shot dead.
Lloyd, 42, of Lower Ottos, appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel this week, but the proceedings did not go ahead as scheduled. He is represented by attorney Wendel Alexander.

Why is Gaston photo above the article’s headline does he need more bad publicity, we know enough about him already this is overkill
I’m very sure the Gaston Brown administration, many years ago, RIGHTFULLY and OFFICIALLY changed the name back to Boggy Peak
Mt. Obama my foot
Mount Obama?? A landmark named after a hardline Marxist/Maoist and open racist? How about Mt. King or Mt Marley?
WTF??
