His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, GCMG, KCN, Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, this morning administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Collin R. Maynard on his reappointment as a Member of the Industrial Court, during a brief ceremony held at Government House.
In his remarks, His Excellency underscored the pivotal role of the Industrial Court in safeguarding fairness in employment and labour relations, noting its contribution to industrial harmony, social stability, and confidence in the rule of law.
He acknowledged the leadership of the President of the Industrial Court, Her Honour Mrs. Samantha May-Francis, and commended the members and staff of the Court for their continued service.
The Governor-General noted that Mr. Maynard’s reappointment reflects the confidence reposed in him and the depth of experience he brings to the Court.

Mr. Maynard is widely known within the banking and financial services community, having spent many years at the Antigua Commercial Bank, where his work required discretion, sound judgment, and adherence to regulatory discipline.
His Excellency also highlighted Mr. Maynard’s strong record of community service, including his role as Secretary of Caribbee Lodge No. 2829 EC, where values of ethical conduct and service are upheld.
By renewing the oaths of office and secrecy, Mr. Maynard reaffirmed his commitment to serve with independence, integrity, and impartiality, and to discharge his duties without fear or favour, affection or ill-will and the highest level of confidentiality.
The ceremony concluded with the formal signing of the books of oaths.

“…Secretary of Caribbee Lodge No. 2829 EC”
WOW! SO YOU HAVE TO BOW TO BAAL TO GET AN APPOINTMENT.
Amazing the depths to which we opt to sink, out of sheer envy and misguided hate. That’s why it took almost three hundred years for Massa to correctly realize that whips and chains were costly and ineffective to keep niggers in their assigned place. Leave it to the fellow slave to ape the actions of crabs in a barrel. Always pull down the one striving for the top and an escape. Smh!

I wish you were as astute when your handler was beseeching the Chinese to make us a Colony for a second time . So complicitly treasonous.
Can the industrial court question these case cooked up by these union that are done off of emotional and political backings that injure employers ? A mean no proper empirical data but a case built out of a union member argument for a judicial person to concur with.
Congratulations sir
