Colin Greene Appointed Sports Commissioner, Steps Down as Principal of Princess Margaret School

Colin Greene, Principal of Princess Margaret School, has reportedly been appointed as the new Sports Commissioner, succeeding Sir Richie Richardson. The appointment is expected to take effect on 1 July 2025.

As a result, Greene will mark his final day as principal today, ahead of his early retirement from the public education system.

Greene’s transition into the new role brings an end to his long-standing tenure in the education sector, where he has been a prominent figure in shaping student development and school leadership.

  1. Congratulations to Mr. Colin Greene on his new appointment. He has always been very keen on sporting activities.
At the same time, Princess Margaret School is going to miss a great Head Master, one who truly loved his students and always pushed them to be their best selves.
I hope the Ministry has a suitable replacement ready for the next academic year.

  2. How much longer did we expect this “faithful servant” to continue to have his wife as his immediate supervisor???? By the way, what are his credentials/ qualifications that he brings to this post? Gimme a break! Why not create a post for him? Let’s say, National Cheerleading Director of Secondary School Sports NCDSSS???😁😁 And what of the short-lived recently appointed Commissioner of Sport??? Too busy preoccupied photographing and pasting pictures of family’s charmed life/existence all over Facebook? As King Obstinate sang, “Get wha’ you can, get wha’ you can get…..”
