The ABDF Coast Guard responded to a 30 foot fishing vessel, which developed mechanical problems approximately 9NM southwest of Palmetto Point, Barbuda, Tuesday morning.
The crew of the coast guard safe boat, towed F/V Lady Kiosha to River, Barbuda.
Three (3) crew members from Lady Kiosha were recovered and transported to Point Wharf, Antigua. There were no reports of injuries.
The ABDF Coast Guard continues to advise mariner’s and beach goers to pay attention to the weather forecast for small craft and high surf advisories.
