A 15-year-old Clare Hall School student, involved in a firearm incident on campus, has been granted bail by Justice Tunde Bakre in the High Court.
Released on $15,000 bail with two sureties, the student must surrender travel documents, report to All-Saints Police Station three times weekly, reside with his mother, and avoid contact with witnesses.
The incident on September 27 led to a school lockdown when the teen was allegedly seen with a firearm.
Though the weapon wasn’t found, he was charged with illegal possession and initially denied bail. Concerns about his lack of support while in custody contributed to the court’s approval of a second bail application.
