A 28-year-old Clare Hall man has been released on bail after being charged with theft and multiple traffic offences.
Kadeem Morrissey appeared before Magistrate Andrew Mighty this week, where he was granted bail on his own recognizance in the sum of $1,000, with no deposit required. The prosecution did not object to his release.
As part of his bail conditions, Morrissey must keep the peace, be of good behaviour, attend court as required, report to the Gray’s Farm Police Station twice weekly—every Monday and Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.—and avoid any contact with the complainants.
The matter has been adjourned to December 17, 2025.
According to police, Morrissey is accused of stealing a two-ton jack, car battery, garden tools, tires and rims, license plates, and several pieces of identification and credit cards from an Ovals resident on November 2.
He was additionally charged with driving without the owner’s consent, operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s licence, and driving without insurance.
