CIP agents offered higher commission to boost sales
In light of increased competition in the Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP) the government has offered an added incentive to agents
It was agreed that suppliers would receive 10% commission incentive for those who submit 1 to 50 files in any one year; 15% commission incentive for those who submit 51 to 75 files in any one year; and 20% commission incentive for those who submit 76 or more files within one year.
“The officials agreed that the incentive would encourage the submission of more files, which in turn would raise more income for the CIP,” Chief of Staff Max Hurst said in his weekly cabinet report.
This new policy becomes immediately enforceable, beginning April 21, 2017.
It was also agreed that the response to applications would be improved, so that the date of submission by the local agent to the date of approval will not exceed 60 days.
