Christal Clashing, known for rowing both the Atlantic and Pacific, is making history for Antigua and Barbuda again by setting the first female free-diving national record in Dominica.

In the Deep Dominica Free-diving competition, athletes select their desired depths, diving without oxygen tanks to retrieve a Velcro tag at the bottom to prove their achievement.

Clashing will compete over six days, from July 28 to August 4, with two days on and one day off. The event is sanctioned by CMAS, an international organization governing competitive free-diving.
