Police Probe Death of 13yr Old Boy

Police are continuing to probe the circumstances surrounding the death of 13 year old Jaiden Titus of Ottos New Town.

Investigations so far revealed that Jaiden may have come into contact with a concrete wall, which apparently has a faulty energized electrical wire running through it, and connected to an electricity pole.

He was found laying unresponsive on the ground at his home, and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center by the Emergency Medical Services.

Efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead around 7:20 pm.

Technicians from Antigua Public Utilities Authority also arrived on the scene and disconnected the electricity.

The alleged incident occurred shortly after 6 pm on Friday.

  1. Oh no! I pray it is not a similar circumstance as happened in Grays Farm recently. May God wrap the family in solace.

    • How about you not be a Cunt! Somebody just lost their child, and youre talking about paying their bill?? Anything there said anything about their bill being unpaid??? You unfeeling piece of fukin shit!

  2. Yesterday afternoon as soon as the little rain started All type of electricity problems started from APUA standpoint. I just cannot understand why in 2022 this is happening. We have a poorly ran electricity ,water ministry and hospital and the old boy gets knighthood. Our hospital is in a deplorable state , lack of simple supplies. Any patient enters and stays there for a week that cannot move by themselves end up with bed sores. I know of someone that fell and end up in the hospital. After weeks of hospitalization they were discharged with dry feces and terrible bed sores. We need to also set term limits. Robin and Maulwin you are too old and incompetent to be still running to represent young, intelligent, qualified ,educated, innovative Antiguans and Barbudans. It’s full time to say good bye 👋 to you two.

    • @Frankly Speaking…we need “term limits,” with their counterparts INDEPENDENT FORENSIC AUDITING, not prepared annual, biannual, monthly reports, but INDEPENDENT FORENSIC AUDITING, to determine if those prepared reports are accurate or ‘doctored.’
If there’s proven irregularities, then we bring charges against even those who’re retired, retiring or voted out of the Parliament.

  3. Oh yes Molwyn and Robin.Pls go home and make way for young people..alzeimers is nearby dont let it catches you in Govt, that would be too bad.Becareful because a 6 will look like 9 to you and 8 will look like 3..Just saying you two your Ministries has much to be desired both ministries are poorly manage. Condolences to the young man family..

  4. My condolences to the family and friends.

I’ll never understand why there are electrical lines throughout the island hanging from the polls and dangling on the ground. Live or not one never knows. This is unacceptable in this time and age, there’s no excuse other than total incompetence.

  5. I see comments so far from the ignorant and the pseudo experts. Moreso neither of the two categories know EXACTLY what happened but they are out in their numbers like how they used to run dem mouth on covid a few months ago.

  6. APUA last week, attached a black box to the post and left it laying on the ground next to my fence, in the Herbert’s area.. It rained today. I am fearful of going out in my yard, for fear of being electrocuted. Can APUA give an explanation?
