The Halo Foundation recognized Mr. Charles Walwyn, Managing Director of Grant Thornton, as the recipient of its 2025 Crystal Volunteer Award during a special presentation held recently.
Her Excellency Lady Sandra Williams expressed sincere appreciation for Mr. Walwyn’s unwavering support and generosity, noting his continued interest in the Foundation over the past decade. She highlighted his willingness to assist, stating, “The door of Mr. Walwyn is one we can knock on each time with the certainty that he will always respond with kindness.” She also acknowledged the quiet but consistent input of his wife, Mrs. Karen Walwyn.
The Crystal Volunteer Award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, service, and goodwill toward the mission of The Halo Foundation. Mr. Walwyn’s long-standing partnership has played a meaningful role in advancing the Foundation’s youth-focused initiatives and community outreach programmes.
The Halo Foundation also extends gratitude to its wider network of partners and supporters who continue to ensure the sustainability and impact of the Foundation’s work across Antigua and Barbuda.
