The Ministry of Works has issued a notice highlighting new dates for the installation of culverts in two road works projects.

Road users are asked to take note that the culverts on VRN in Jennings will now be done on Friday 27th September 2024.

The public is also advised that the installation of the culvert at the junction of Dickenson Bay Street and Anchorage Road will NOW be done on Sunday 29th September 2024 as the overhead Electrical Lines can only be de-energized on Sunday.

The public is reminded that vehicular traffic will be diverted, and diversion signs and flag persons will be employed. The general public is encouraged to follow all instructions to ensure a cautious and safe passageway as heavy-duty equipment will be operating near the culverts.

The firm of C.O. Williams Construction Ltd. regrets any inconvenience this may cause.

Telephone queries can be made to C.O. Williams Project Office from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Mondays to Fridays via telephone number 562 9573.

  1. Again this corrupts and incompetent government inepts..allow rhe same traffic mayhem as Saturday 28/09/2024??.

Is a good business use C.O.W company, for busters your brown papers bags.

  2. Yes Yes there are many potholes but some are very tricky for motorist. Can someone alert this jokey government that at the top of Lauchland Benjamin drive there is a huge pothole by the intersection with wireless road. Because that corner is already tricky to navigate it messes up traffic even more. A few yards down APUA messed up the road and that crack that spans the length of the road is also messing up the traffic. What really amazes me is how this jokey government allows these things to fester. ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING THIS TO SPITE US? Don’t you technocrats and engineers drive along these roads to notice these little things?
