Burial Fees

The Central Board of Health (CBH) has announced updated fees for public and private burial services, effective 5 January 2026.

The revised rates for digging a single grave are as follows: $100 for stillborns or children under three years, $250 for children aged three to under 15, and $500 for persons aged 15 and over.

Care and maintenance of a single grave for one year, or part thereof, will now cost $150.

For private burial plots containing multiple graves, the fee for the first grave is set at $300, with each additional grave space after the first costing $50.

The CBH advises that all payments must be made at its office on Upper Church Street.

  1. Cremation are mostly done by cultural belief like people who believes in evolution and the non existence of god.
When someone is grieving about losing some close to them let say by accident or suffering, the though of finally inflicting the finish to their remains by burning is haunting.

  2. Could a burial or cremation. We ALL MUST APPEAR BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST JESUS

    Revelation 20:13

“And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works”.
