CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana – Monday, 30 December 2024: Ahead of Haiti’s Two Hundred and Twenty-First Anniversary of Independence on 1 January 2025, CARICOM Secretary-General Dr. Carla Barnett has said that the Region remains committed to a long-term plan for peace and security within the Member State.
“CARICOM remains in solidarity with Haiti as a valued Member of the Caribbean Community, supporting its efforts to strengthen national institutions, reform its constitution, and revitalise its electoral and governance processes,” asserted Dr. Barnett.
She noted that the Community remains resolute in collaborating with Haiti to pursue lasting peace, security, economic prosperity and social progress, which she described as the “stepping stones to the quality of life that the people of Haiti fully deserve.”

“Excellency,
The Caribbean Community extends warm congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Haiti on the achievement of its Two Hundred and Twenty-First Anniversary of Independence.
The historical significance of Haiti’s Independence continues to inspire the Caribbean Community. This occasion is cause for celebration and pride in the indomitable resilience of the Haitian people, who persevere in the face of many challenges.
CARICOM remains in solidarity with Haiti as a valued Member of the Caribbean Community, supporting its efforts to strengthen national institutions, reform its constitution, and revitalise its electoral and governance processes.

It’s a true shame how everyone turn their backs on HAITI and how the UN, US and other biggerheads want to just go to HAITI so they can grab all the IRIDIUM. People who are so blind to the lies think all the fighting in HAITI are gangs trying to control things when it’s not. The people are fighting for their rich IRIDIUM to stay in HAITI and not for dirty politicians in other countries come to theif the natural rich resource and continue to starve out the HAITIANS. The US and other countries are so greedy and evil they will do anything for the IRIDIUM because it is a rich material only found in a perfect area in the world and HAITI got it. IRIDIUM is used to build space ships. Also what is a shameful thing is that CARICOM sit and watch HAITIANS are mistreated. Let the HAITIANS control their rich natural resources so they can enrich themselves. I pray the HAITIANS continue to fight the evil powers coming to steal their natural resources.
Until the land resources is redistributed in Haiti there will not be peace, the white people and the mulatto class own all the resources, if barbeque channel his revolution in the right place away from some of his black opponent he would become a martyr, free up the lands and give it to the poor, and america and France take their foot out of throat of Haiti economic independence.
