The Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union (ABWU) is seeking a dynamic, committed, and results-driven Industrial Relations Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Union in grievance and disciplinary matters
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements
- Advise members on employment and labour-related issues
- Prepare reports, case summaries, and correspondence
- Conduct workplace visits and engage with shop stewards and members
- Provide guidance on the interpretation of labour laws and agreements
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in labour relations or union representation
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Law, Human Resource Management, or a related field would be an asset
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters effectively
- High level of integrity and professionalism

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
