A candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday, 29 October, to honour the life of Kahleel Simon.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Bolans Primary School, followed by a walk to West Palm Beach — the site of the incident that claimed Simon’s life.
Organisers say the gathering is meant to bring the community together in love and unity. Attendees are being encouraged to wear yellow, a colour symbolising light, hope and love.
Participants are also asked to bring candles as they walk in remembrance of Simon.
