The Cabinet invited a Japanese Firm called WATO Water Treatment that appeared before its members a little more than a month ago; the firm manufacturers waste water treatment plants that will take foul smelling water from kitchens and bathrooms and turn that waste into water good enough for landscaping and other outdoor uses.
The Cabinet was informed by the WATO Representatives that financing to purchase one hundred units had been secured from several sources.
The Cabinet however reserved its decision on whether to proceed with the purchase of the units, until the terms of the financing had been fully examined by Ministry of Finance Officials who will advise the Cabinet.

So long they suppose to treat the wastewater. I hope this doesn’t turn into another talk shop
Japanese tech?
If this proposal is solid, I think the cabinet should take it into consideration.
Another proposal? How many more are there going to be before some works start?
When will cabinet stop fooling laborats?
They believe any and everything they hear from the labour party hierarchy who keep them in a state of stupidity.
There can be no waste water treatment in St johns or Antigua without a Central Sewage System.
Where will the wast water come from?
Are they planning on collecting water from Country Pond and recycling it?
Does the government office comples proved sufficient waste water for recycling?
Please stop ringing that in the ears of laboRATs.
Are you planning on stealing some money like the cemetery where 2 million seems to have been buried?
Do try that!!!!!!!
Becarefull, That system is High tech tecnology…Maintenance will be a huge headache…Isnt cheap technology..Each Unit cost around 10k USD FOB Price. Demand a monthly expenses of liquids and filters that cost money, plus the Technician to do the monthly maintenance, that is another cost..The cost for installation is also another matter, need a shed to protect the unit, plus all plumbing that have to be done to bring the water from the showers and sink to this unit, also dont treat well grease, so a grease trap need to be build in order to remove it..People in Antigua tend to trash everything in the Kitchen sink while doing dishes, and grease is a big headache to remove. Any homeowner need to be willing to invest over 45k EC for the initial installation of this system, and allocate over 200 ec monthly for maintenance. That is too much in a long run just to collect few gallon of water. If goverment want to invest in 100 units..That will be over 1 million USD just to purchase those unit..Not including Shipping and other cost.. The benefits to invest in this kind of technologies vs benefits isnt worth it…Only wealthy people can pay this..No regular citizen in Antigua can keep this unit running even if they get it for free.
