Cabinet Reviews Impact of Trump Policies on Antigua and Barbuda
The Cabinet has evaluated the potential effects of the Trump administration’s policies on Antigua and Barbuda, focusing on economic impacts, migration, and citizenship issues.
President Trump recently enacted measures targeting unauthorized border crossings, including large-scale deportations, suspending asylum rights, redefining birthright citizenship, and halting the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. These policies are expected to affect Antigua and Barbuda and the wider Caribbean.
The Cabinet agreed that the country’s U.S. Embassy will monitor developments closely to address any potential challenges.

Donald Trump don’t want you all in his country. So many Antiguans and caribbeab people living undocumented in the US. But guess what? For them it’s better than catching hell in the Caribbean.
Exactly, plus the many that were born there n have never lived elsewhere due 2their parents or grandparents having migrated there….
Now, with the potential influx of people when they r deported 2their country of origin, where will they get housing? Employment? Food? Etc ?
This greatly affects ALL spectrums of society….
Additionally, our schools are overpopulated and understaffed…. These individuals are coming with children that need schooling….
With the current status quo of nonchalance from the mins. of Ed, only when the teachers decide to strike again with any proactive measures b contemplated, as it’d b a reaction 2pacify the ppl instead of being proactive from now to work on the necessary infrastructure to b able 2accomodate the influx of students….
Perilous times ⏲️ may God have mercy on Trump and his wicked agenda 🙏
@Observer : I know of Caribbean folks in the US, SLEEPING on cots/sponges by the front door of the apartments they are begging a ‘likkle lodging’. They have to be the one to go to sleep last at night, and the first to wake in the morn (to move and pack up their beddings). Most don’t have NOTHING…Might not be the HELL you state that they are catching in the Caribbean, but its some where in purgatory they have been residing for a while.
Blessings
Lard have mercy pon awe
It’s important for the Cabinet to thoroughly review the impact of the Trump administration’s policies on Antigua and Barbuda. Understanding the lasting effects can help us better navigate future international relations and make informed decisions for the country’s prosperity.
Examining the impact of the Trump administration’s policies on Antigua and Barbuda is a critical step in assessing both the challenges and opportunities that arose from those years. A thoughtful review will ensure that the country can adapt and build stronger ties with global partners moving forward.
Where is King Charles and the European Union with their Trillions to bail out the Caribbean?
Remember the Caribbean Nations and islands built the coffers of Europe.
You know what’s hypocritical about most people I’ve heard talk about this? They DO NOT want other people from other countries, even Caribbean countriesx living in their island. Eg, I have very often head Antigua people say they don’t want Jamaicans here. I have heard Bardados people say they don’t want Guyanese there etc etc etc and the list goes on. Why should the US alow people to come into their country illegally? Why should asylum seekers be allowed in the country without due process? Anyone can say they’re seeking asylum and that includes rapist, terrorist, gang members, serial killers, pedophiles etc.. Should the US just let them into the country without due process or verification? Would Antigua allow anyone of those types of people looking to enter the country based or the claim of looking for asylum, without due process? Are we really that stupid in here? Come on man… Trump is doing what every leader of a country should do, look out for his country and protect his country and people from possible external risks coming into the US. I would expect the same from any leader in this regard.
Yall just hypocritical because yall hate anything name Trump. None of yall said anything when Obama was president and exported more illegal immigrants than any other president before or after him. Yall too ridiculous now…. Smh…

Mr. Trump is doing what any country is supposed to be doing. Once you are in a country illegally you need to be dealt with by the authorities. Yes, there may be circumstances but do things the right way. All countries take steps to fix their borders but when the US seeks to do it it’s a problem. The US has tentacles everywhere and still has to spend billions of dollars on illegals. Nothing is wrong with looking out for the citizens of your country. We will suffer but he has a right to stem the tide of vicious gangs moving from South America to America to continue their nefarious agendas. It will force our governments to do REAL work and find a way to fix our economies and help people here. Mr. Trump, do what is right for your country!
All the Jamaicans, Dominicans, Spanish and Guyanese who have Antigua and Barbuda citizenship living in America, will be deported directly to Antigua. The nation of Antigua please be prepared for the influx of deportees.
Barack Obama was nicknamed the Deporter-In-Chief and for provable reasons. He deported more illegals than in his first Administration versus Trumps Administration. Who was paying attention then?
