Cabinet responds to fake news about Dengue

The Cabinet addressed a fake news item about Dengue. The Minister of Health confirmed that Antigua and Barbuda is Dengue-free as are all OECS countries.

 

Only one Caribbean country has recently declared that it is dengue affected.

The Cabinet continues to urge parents to have their children vaccinated and to pay no attention to the anti-vaxers whose rhetoric, if believed, can adversely affect the children who may be denied vaccination.

The Minister reminded that our vaccination rate for children exceeds 90%.

The prevalence of Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) is a subject area that the Minister is currently addressing at the United Nations at this time. He is seeking funding to enlarge the program that will result in lower NCDs in Antigua and Barbuda and the OECS.

  1. Why did Lionel Hurst correct the record on Dengue saying his written weekly report was incorrect? He said Antigua had a few cases. He did this on TV. Now we are even more confused.

  3. The anti vaxxers were more right about the co[n]vid jab than the health professionals — their goal is to fill their pockets with $$ from psychopath eugenicist like Kill Gates. They don’t give 2 shits about your children or anyone else’s health.
    I grew up in Antigua and never got a dengue jab –What’s the difference now? If you follow these greedy bastards, you’ll be quackseenating yourselves and your children into an early grave — because the real agenda is about depopulation.
    The rastafarian community were exempt from the jab — did that community suffer extensive losses to co[n]vid?

  4. Hurst said on ABS TV on Thursday’s briefing that he needed to correct his written report about Dengue. HE SAID WE HAD A FEW CASES. So do we or don’t we? What are we to believe?

    • Did Bill Gates genetically engineered mosquitoes get released in the Caribbean? The places in the US where they were released suddenly started having cases of malaria that were NOT tied to international
      travel.

  6. More lies. I know 2 people down very seriously, having been diagnosed over the past 24 hours with DENGUE. Why all the official lies?
