  1. Larry was truly a foundational figure in Antigua’s local business community. For over 44 years, he operated the Friars Hill Road Service Station under an agreement with the West Indies Oil Company (WIOC).He built a legendary reputation across Antigua and Barbuda for exceptional customer service and business excellence. Just could not find a nicer, gentler, kinder man than Larry. And beyond the pumps, Lion Larry served as a highly committed past President of the Lions Club. Truly a remarkable man, an exceptional human being was Lawrence Larry Gonsalves. We have had many excellent conversations. My condolences to his family and the many persons with whom he came in contact.
