
Antigua’s legendary soca band Burning Flames will bring their electrifying energy to the stage tonight as the 25th edition of the Dominica World Creole Music Festival kicks off at Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
The three-night event, running from October 24 to 26, celebrates a quarter-century of “pulsating rhythms” under the theme 25 in 2025 – Jubilee Year, and features a mix of soca, reggae, dancehall, cadence-lypso, and afrobeat stars from across the Caribbean and beyond.
Night One Line-Up
Tonight’s opening show features a powerhouse lineup that includes Masicka, Burning Flames, Gilles, Halibut, Oswald, Nulook, Midnight Groovers, Steel Pulse, Romain Virgo, Triple Kay International, and Ezra D’ Fun Machine.
Weekend of Caribbean Stars
Saturday’s lineup will showcase Vybz Kartel, Spice, Joé Dwèt Filé, Kes, WCK, Gordon Henderson, Ophelia, Linford John, Asa Bantan, First Serenade, and several others, highlighting both regional icons and Dominican talents.
The festival will close on Sunday with Kehlani, Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons, Tiwa Savage, Kassav, Extasy Band, Michele Henderson, Elisha Benoit, and Signal Band, among others.
Cultural and Tourism Milestone
Presented by the Government of Dominica, the festival has grown into one of the Caribbean’s premier music events, attracting visitors from around the world for a weekend of vibrant performances, Creole culture, and island hospitality.
